looking for a deal on a geissle ssa or ssa-e

I am looking to replace the mil spec trigger in my del-ton with something better. there is way too much slop in itand after getting my hands on a few rifles with better triggers, I want one

.

The only thing I am not sure of is where and when to get the best deal from, and whether or not to go with the ssa or ssa-e.

Rifle is mostly a GP rifle with a few other things done to it. This is my nothing special/iron sight rifle.

Thoughts, suggestions?

Unless you really need a two-stage, you can get a big improvement for $ with the ALG QMS.

The best deals are usually between Black Friday and Christmas. I purchased all of my SSA-E and SD-E in that time frame. At that time you can usually find then from $165 to $180. They also go on sale around many holidays. I have found the best sales at Primary Arms and Palmetto State Armory.

I have it, I like it.

Either do this (G2S) or wait and get the SSA-E. I have both and are very happy with them.
If you can wait until Memorial Day or July 4, Geissele usually has a big sale one of those two holidays.

Consider the B-GRF. On sale at Brownells for $140. It is their rapid fire trigger. I have a G2S, an SSA-E, and 3 B-GRF’s. It’s an awesome trigger for much less than the SSA-E. I can’t say there is a lot of difference between the SSA-E and the B-GRF. The SSA-E and G2S are entirely different triggers. The G2S is NOT a substitute for a SSA-E.

Yes ALG and either the ACT or QMS. I have the ACT and really like it. The ACT is better than my stock Colt AR trigger.

If your not totally set on a geissele (I totally understand if you are, i love everything they make) A LaRue mbt2s can be had for $99 frequently and are great triggers

sounds like a general consensus the geissle triggers are a bit over priced. I always thought they were the golden standard.

Geissele is a fine bench-mark, but you're going to pay for it. Much like Colt AR's command a premium, same is true for Geissele.
