I am a new MSI member & checked their site for updates on 2A Tuesday. Specifically will there be any charter bus transportation to the event or will it all be carpooling and self driven.

I am 72 & live in the Perry hall section of BA CO. I will gladly pay my way for a car ride or charter bus seat. M2 year old Uncle also wants to go.

Does anyone know of any transportation plans to and from this event?

I SEARCHED MS Forums & didn't come up with anything.

We do not have transportation plans at this point, so for the moment I would say that anyone wanting to arrange groups to do so independently.

This will not have an effect on any other logistics, as we are operating with an eye to getting as many people as possible, in any way possible!

    UPDATE:

The plans for the day are now all but set.

Prepare for a day of engagement with other 2A supporters, and your Legislators.

The rally itself will be held from 11:30-1:30, but there will be time throughout the day to meet with your elected officials, and spend time learning about the state of the ongoing legislative process in Maryland, and what you can do to help in the fight!

Plan on getting to Annapolis early, and staying late! We expect to leave the Senators and Delegates with the distinct impression that we are statewide, upset, and will be here throughout the session.

    Sir,
Thank you for deciding to support MSI and attend the 2A Tuesday rally, it will likely be a very cold day, and certainly be one of the most patriotic and inspirational days of our lives.

I have attended many of these events and have always felt it was worth taking a day off work (unpaid) and frequently without my family.

I hope someone might help you get there, unfortunately I'm already taking a full load; looking forward to seeing you there.

AGC have put together bus transports to Annapolis in the past, don't know if they are planning any for this or not. If there are ranges near you, you could check with them to see if they are planning for the event.

    2A Tuesday

It is my duty as a MD gun owner, shooter and hunter to attend this event. We are all fortunate to have local pro-gun groups like MSI and AGCM to sponsor these events.

Many thanks to all the hard working folks of ALL these organizations for what they did to try & prevent SOB 281 from passing and what they are doing now to try and get this BS law repealed or amended.

I was talking to a sales rep earlier at Trop Gun Shop 910 North Hanover St. Elizabethtown, PA 17022 Phone: 717-367-5585 Email: info@tropgun.com. I asked her if there was any problem sending ammo or reloading supplies to MD and she said NO. But she did ask me about the new gun grabber law. When I told her that a lawful md citizen has to be licensed by the MSP and jump thru all kinds of loops and out of pocket cash to get the license, she could not believe that this law even passed and hasn't been repealed as a CLEAR CUT INFRINGEMENT OF AN INDIVIDUALS 2A RIGHTS.

I told her that she would have to live in this state to believe what a dictatorship it is and the socialist state government that runs it.

She then asked me what the NRA was doing about this? I told her that I would like to know the exact same thing.

Thank you for spreading the word.

The shop name sounds familiar, but if there is any literature we can get them, please let myself or StickerLT know.

it's nice to have you in the fight. I think the word is spreading and the tide is turning to get Maryland gun owners involved. Having gotten 4,000 people down in Annapolis last session, it's clear we have a chance to be heard.

As to the NRA, they are not part of 2A Tuesday...this is a grassroots attack. They used to write-off MD as a lost cause, but with grassroots efforts of organizations like MSI they have begun to show up. An NRA rep was 1 of 3 at the table addressing the legislature this past session and likely will be down there again this winter.

Keep the faith...the tide is turning.

I dropped flyers on them about 4 weeks ago I think.

Planing to stop buy again.. never spoke with sr. management.. but did speak with an assistant manager....

Next time I will try and get a contact name..

If the MSI board would get a letter of introduction.. I can get it to the right person. They tend to be Md friendly.. one my go to spots...

Shouldn't there be threads for different counties so car pooling can be done ?

Any pre planning / drinking on 2/3 might spend the night

Any DINO ideas for 2/4 ie Democrats against SB281

Carpools/buses/etc. at this point are wide open for individuals to organize. In fact, I recommend this be considered a local priority, and anyone who steps up to organize will be considered a hero (lower-case;))

Just be aware that with such power comes the commensurate responsibility of spreading the word and filling the conveyance of choice to capacity.

    It was partly tongue-in-cheek.

Bottom line... Organize away!! The more the merrier, and promote the heck out of it.

You want flyers? Let us know. Print your own? Shoot, I'll email you the latest PDF.

This goes for anyone who wants to participate. There is no limit to this, as long as folks are working together to arrange transport.
