Well, I've found myself a new project for the workbench next month. Following the instructions on http://aradvansky.googlepages.com/ruger1022mod that page and going to town.
Found the airsoft donor body for $99.95 from http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERM-JG-G36C-638.htm and can sell off the internals for about 40-50 bucks so total cost to me will only be around $50. I will keep you all updated and maybe even do a video tutorial so that others can revel in the quizzical and outright shocked faces of people at the range when you whip out a G36 at the range
