Something I noticed the last few weeks, especially in VA, is that now MDA crowd and others are saying "look, the folks on the other side have been spinning this story for years that we are trying to take ALL the guns away. That's not what we are trying to do".

Yup, now that some have come out to say "hell yes I am coming for your guns", all the gun control crowd is now starting to say that they aren't trying to take all guns. IE they are trying to take some of our guns away.

I've said before, if they are this scared to actually hear from their constituents, and we aren't talking a couple of crazed nuts, but tens of thousands or more of them, then maybe what you are doing is wrong.
In MD they cut debate time in half on gun control bills, scheduled them all at the same time so you couldn't be present for each of them, made it so you had to be present to submit written testimony and then interrupted witnesses, prevented them from testifying, were belittling, rude and dismissive. If you don't care about your constituents rights, they might not care about following the laws those law makers pass. That seems to be the refrain I've been hearing more and more of the last couple of years. And that's kind of scary all around when huge numbers of people say they won't follow the law and also that they feel they are being driven to it (to be clear, I mean scary for society).

Grabbed some stills from a CBS feed this morning. Reported says there are about 1000 folks in line to go through security, many wearing the orange "Guns Save Lives" stickers. Many others are gathering across the street.
The police have provided a teeny little sign on the ground describing prohibited items, the last of which includes "anything else."

And the shlt-stirring begins. This guy just asked a gent with a megaphone, who was preaching against Marxism, if he wanted to "start a revolution today? Want to hop those fences and kill that guy?" Then he pointed out that the only purpose of guns was to kill, but claimed to be a Libertarian. The people in the area identified him as an instigator, and told him to GTFO.
