I have some bullets that are loaded up and fine for pressure etc etc. I was going to just use them for plinking but I'll be damned if they aren't spot on like a laser!

The problem is, i forget what the bullet is at this point HAHAHA. I pulled a couple and they are 155gr. They have a RED polimer tip, which makes me think they were a-max bullets but i'm not sure i bought any 155gr a-max. Though they could be "factory seconds" of amax. No canalure. There are also some that other say are more "orange" than red. I'm colorblind so i didn't notice until he put them in separate piles.

Anyone have an idea of what it might be?

My guess is either Hornady A-Max or Hornady ELD Match.

The two have very similar profiles, but you might be able to tell if either matches yours.

I believe Hornady discontinued the A-Max after the ELD Match came out, but there are some leftover A-Max's for sale here and there on the web.

This is a .308 projectile. A-Max was probably what it was. i have some a-max laying around and i only ever bought ELD in 220gr. That brings up a good point though. Perhaps compare the tips? If it 'was' a-max, i should try ELD at this point perhaps. I'm super happy w/ it in 300 win mag, why not 308 or 300blk. thanks!
