Not sure if I should put this here or the Gunsmithing thread......

Just got a MFT BULS stock for my AR. It's a commercial buffer tube and I got the commercial size stock. I put it on and it is extremely tight. As in it take two hands and and my feet to move it. The latch is also getting stuck and doesn't want to move. Anyone else experience this or have any thoughts on a fix?

That is what im thinking too.

Unless that commercial Receiver Extension is WAY out of spec or is bent. They do bend if abused.

Mil-spec=more better. Is the end of the buffer angled or 'squared'? If angled, it is commercial. If squared, it should be mil-spec.

When I got my stock for my scorpion it was tight as hell but it loosened up a bit with use.

The buffer is definitely commercial. I'm wondering if the stock was mispackaged.

Nope. The stock would be baggy if it was a mil-spec stock on a skinny old com. tube. Something's certainly out of spec.
