One or two of these might be ok, but the rest is junk. Bolded are what I think might be ok - maybe.

Transferring a handgun without a firearms license.
Selling or giving possession of ammunition to a minor.
Selling handgun ammunition to a person under 21 years of age.
Possession of ammunition by a person prohibited from possessing a firearm.
Furnishing ammunition to a person prohibited from possessing ammunition.
    Carrying ammunition onto school grounds.
Receiving stolen property consisting of a firearm.
Carrying a loaded or concealed weapon if the person has been previously convicted of a drug charges. Depends on the specifics
Possession of a firearm that is not registered.

Tired of seeing more proposals to strip away someone's rights.

The current excess of laws isn't good enough already?

    How about this one.

You take your kid out to plink a few rounds. They put 22lr rounds in their coat pocket while loading the magazine. A tiny hole in the pocket seam allows one to slip down into the coat insulation.

The kid goes to school one day and the round works its way out of the coat liner and drops out onto the floor.

Both you and your kid are now banned via #2, #5 (minors are prohibited from possessing ammunition), and #6.

I had this happen with my son. Luckily it did not fall out at school, but it was in there a long time and we didn't know about it.

For some libs, these laws are just an attempt at control. For others, I think they honestly believe it will make folks safer, but they think emotionally and don't look at reality or logic. And worse, they don't think about unintended consequences.

I just got here from there (hello by the way). Yes, MD has some of the most restrictive laws, but trust me, you're better off here than in CA when it comes to 2A.

-Handgun ammunition is a legally defined term in California, that, last I heard, was ruled unconstitutionally vague. Either way, 22lr is not included.
-The one about drugs is restricted to violent offenses and narcotics, so it sidesteps the medical and recreational marijuana debate.
-Receiving stolen property is only a crime if you knew the property was stolen (but you don't get to keep it regardless)

The text of the law is here, if anyone wants to read it: http://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billCompareClient.xhtml?bill_id=201520160SB347
