I watched Airgunner TV on the Outdoor channel and watched those guys do some competitions, which looked like a lot of fun. All this SARS-CoV-2 has us doing the social distance and web meetings, lets take it to air guns.

    So here is the game:
10m distance use either .177 or .22 keep track of your shots to cut a standard playing card in half.

Post a picture and a count and what you played the game with; multiple posts even better.

Set up is easy; mine is below.
I picked up about a dozen packs of playing cards while deployed, casinos sents boxes of used/expired decks.

I plan to start my attempts Friday night!

Never mind the bottles, they're for another project!

    Yowza!

I thought I’ve been hot snot using 3/4” round posters for targets on white backers, with a Venturi V-10 ...

I have a Daisy Avanti 753S with peeps that might make this highly do-able. Doubtful there is a playing card in this entire house. I’ll have to check with the dog, I mean, he did win the lottery after all!

This was one of the challenges at one if the 2018 MARS Rimfire matches at Mayberry. Cut a playing card in half at 25yds. We got 3 shots. I hit it twice but didn’t cut it. Still fun.

Another fun thing is shoot the flame off a birthday candle. The kids at the junior shooting program really enjoy this when we run fun matches. It doesn't count if you hit the wax candle just the flame.

Here is my first attempt with the Anschutz 8004 modified in .177. Basement range 10m (past the frig and over the recliner). Jack card was first shot. Joker card second shot. Subsequent shots hit the card but never get all the way thru the card. The cards also roll in clothes pin if you nick them. Anschutz is only at 500 FPSish. Maybe too slow to get thru? Next attempt with Hatsan 22 later today...gotta put a tank on the 8N tractor first.

Bingo! Beeman HW100 .177. Queen was 1 shot, Ace was 2. King was 1.

Lessons learned: use only regular playing cards (no plastic covers or films) and place the card in the clothes pin as deep as it will go (very tight hold).

Used my new Diana Chaser rifle on a business card. All of the playing cards here are plastic coated. Took about 20 shots to sight it in then put the card up.

The second shot not only cut it in two, but knocked the bottom half out of the clothespin, too.

    Where they send me.
    Neat! Just now seeing this.

Tough challenge, I'll need to go get some well worn nursing home cards to give me the edge I think.

(we'll talk later about your flavored "whiskey")
