As noted, I want to find an old-fashioned, fixed M16A2-style rear sight for my AR. I built it with a flattop upper and a Troy fixed rear sight which is good and solid, but it's A1 all the way, and I'd forgotten how much I didn't love those.

    :o

So if anyone spots either a rear sight alone or, depending on what's out there, an A2-style carry handle or has advice on the same, please chime in!

I'll be watching for sales this weekend, but someone else may spot something I miss, so...

Thanks in advance and all that.

Look in the classifieds for the complete Colt kit, he had a Colt detachable carry handle. DPMS and LMT both make a chopped carry handle for those of you building Amish carbines.

    "Amish carbine" - I love it! :lol2:

And I do see that complete kit there. PM off to see if he wants to piece it out...

All worked out - I picked up a Colt carry handle from bitterkenny out of the classifieds here, quick and easy and a reasonable price and all that. Now off to mount it and then get my butt to the range to re-zero things!
