It's flat so it punches pretty, perfect circles in paper...which is about all .40 is good for
We all know .40 wants to be .45 when it grows up
I'll just come out and say it...
I own one, soon to be two .40s. I also have two ARs, both are piston guns. Also a m1a. If that's makes me ghey, then ghey I will be!
Feels better now!
Pretty close chale, .40 wants to get it's balls back and become a 10mm again.
Although if it wants to become a .45, that's also acceptable.
Who opened the closet?
I think the better question at this point is, Just how big is the closet???
I do not own a .40!

The M1A cancels out a LOT of that Ghey, but not all of it
As a USP .45 owner, my ghey level is slightly reduced, but the BLAH BLAH .40 and piston BLAH BLAH kinda offset the sheer bad-assness of HK ownership.
I hope to join that club some day, but the ex took any play money i hope to have for quite a while, glad i snuck my XD-M in when i did
A bullet is cheaper than a divorce.
I "heard" that it was to help distinguish 9mm from .40 at a glance. No idea if that's actually the reason, or even part of it, but it makes some sense.
I can tell between either casings without seeing the markings.
