15% is not enough to buy into that sighting system after the mess they made.

If you don't plan to use them in 120F+ weather or in cold <32F, you might be fine. My seem to work fine, but I'm not sure I'd get another EOTech. They also may be susceptible to age-related errors like the rest of us.

The inside of a car or trunk can easily hit 120 on a warm summer day.

New idea for an invention: rifle coolers! Put your rifle and its optics on ice. Yeah, probably not gonna be a big seller.

Maybe the inside of a car with the windows rolled up. a trunk would take much more time for heat to build with no direct sunlight into the trunk

You leave your rifles in your trunk during the day? Where, uh, do you park? Just curious that's all.

LEOs and .mil.? Or whoever spends 400-500 dollars on a rifle optic that claims it's capable of retaining zero in adverse conditions? they marketed the rifle to men and women who WILL use their rifles in self defense situations and knew they had a fatal design flaw. If a LEO shoots the wrong person because their zero has shifted drastically, that LEO and it's agency will be held accountable.
