I have some W-231 I use for my 9mm load. I am going to give it a SHOT. I am going to get some CFE pistol and experiment with that to see how it acts. We are off to a good start.
Thanks for everyone's advice and recommendations.

I load 4.1 grains Bullseye under a 180 Berry's double struck flat point plated bullet. Primer is Remington 5 1/2. Flawless functioning in my Glock 23 and Glock 27. Very mild recoil. Very pleasant and tight groups. I also use 4.8 grains Bullseye for a full power simulated load. Same primer and bullet. I only load 180 plated. No use spending more money for an FMJ that I am just shooting into the dirt. Lead bullets won't feed in my Glocks with an after market traditionally rifled barrel.

I actually used my 4.1 load to qualify at Leosa one year. Passed easily.

While most of us know that Bullseye works in just about everything, many don't use it because of how critical small changes can be. I have seen more guns, S&W, Colt, Glock, Kahr blown up when using Bulleye reloads than any other. Believe me, after having my Kahr P9 disassemble in my hands and seeing the others, I now only use it in .32 ACP, .380 ACP and .45 ACP target loads.

As for lead bullets in Glocks, KKM's Glock barrels feed lead without a problem. Barsto will throat his barrel for your particular bullet if you call him and tell him what you want.

I use 5.2gr of Unique behind a 180gr lead polymer coated bullet. Recoil is just right out of a double stack 1911 to make Major in USPSA and IDPA. And you can't double-fill with Unique, it's very noticeable. I use Unique for 40 S&W and 45 ACP and 38 Special. Titegroup for 9mm, since the case is so tiny you can't miss a double-fill. I would like to try some Trail Boss in 40 just because.

    I ended up loading .40 with HS-6.

In SIGs, with 231 and other really fast powders, the rifling would strip the bullet and cause tumbling.

    HS-6 had no problems.

This was with a USPSA major load.

I use HS-6 for 9mm, 40, 357sig, and 45. And to add on that, light loaded 44 mag. But I have 8lbs of it.
