Picked up my first precision bolt action rifle this weekend at 2A. While I was seriously tempted by the Tikka T3X TAC A1 in 308 (which was absolutely beautiful), I am very happy with my purchase - it is everything the reviews say it is in terms of accuracy and features. Tom did a great job at mounting the scope in the shop while I did paperwork, which saved me hours of frustration. Took it out to Elite Shooting Sports in Manassass on Sunday and had a ball shooting at 100 yards to break her in.

    Thanks again!

Very nice! I hope you get a chance to shoot longer distances with it, I think you'll be amazed at what that rifle can do.

    Nice rifle..... :D

    What glass?

Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 EBR-1 Riflescope PST (MOA, FFP) in a Nightforce 20 MOA unimount.

I also brought out my 2A Sales built recce AR-15 that has the Viper PST 2.5-10 just to see the difference - you don't even realize how much magnification you are missing till you do that! Now the 3.5X TA-11 on my SCAR17 seems hopeless...

Definitely want to shoot at longer ranges and outdoors. I know I will be impressed. I am already and still just finding the ammo the gun will like the best.

Sounds like a good reason to head to Delmarva. I loaded 40 rounds of 338 yesterday. Another 20ish and all my 338 brass will be ready for more range time. My 338 is unrecognizable since I bought it from Mark though haha... :D
