ZT351TS some 1/4" 2x2 G10, a strip of 6.4 Ti, #2 hardware, a dremel to shape the grip and a torch to bend the clip. All I really wanted was a deep carry clip for my ZT351. I couldn't find a maker anywhere so it snowballed a little.

    VERY NICE BLADE!!

I have been thinking about fashioning something like this for my 0350TS, I just don't like the factory clip. Would you think about fashioning and selling deep pocket clips?

Also, where did you get aftermarket scales?

I found some real art on the web and a lot of help from USknifemaker.com
and got inspired. (Obviously not my work)

Dremeled up a NRA freebie knife for practice with good results.

Made a scale for my ZT561. Really easy.

It made me a little over confident for my real goal of doing the ZT350

The ZT350 was much more difficult.
1- the right side scale has a 3 knurled nuts set into it.
2- 2 clip screws close together threaded into the steel side plate thru the scale.

I first tried to make a clip out of a spare steel Spyderco clip. Burned it up like a matchstick with the torch. Thankfully, the 6/4 Ti blank from USKnifemaker.com took much better to bending with heat. Try it yourself. Mangle it and your only out $4.

Shaping the scales to fit your hand is fun and satisfying.

    Swords

Swords count in the blades section, right?
    A few more play toys.

The one on the left is a replica of the famous "Ivanhoe" sword.
The next one is a replica of one everybody knows: Excalibur.
(Both of those swords purchse in Toledo Spain many years ago)

The next one is an Excalibur that I made when I was only twelve years old...I'm 51 now and it's still sharp and dangerous!

The one on the right is a replica Katana, also from Toledo Spain.

Just bought this - Condor Golok.

This thing is a beast. It came sharp, but I decided it needed to be honed and stropped. Now, it's a big 2 lb razor blade. Cut myself twice working on it… Stupid.

Anyways, it's got a nice balance and feel. Can't wait to chop some stuff in the yard - or Zombies in the event of an outbreak.

Got a set of Allan Putman scales to freshen up my 550 grip, no longer feels hollow and fat, it's thinner, a little heavier, but far more solid, and fit perfectly.

Newest addition...custom Pro-Tech Sprint "Cali-legal" automatic with custom abalone inlay. It's small at under 2 inches, but surprisingly capable and very well-made. Fit and finish is fantastic!

I plan to have a carbon damascus blade made for it when I find someone who will do it.

They have an even more limited edition model made with 600 million year old bone and damascus which I am starting to fall for...

Some "Made in the USA" fixed blades. One in the photo is a rice-burner - kudos to the member who can ID it.

The background flag is a new acquisition, dual-sided embroidered, and so freakin' cool I shouldn't be allowed (by our MD fathers) to own it! :party29:

Schrade Extreme Nitro Folder...I could not resist the looks at $22 as the styling is so unique. It is probably the worst knife I have ever purchased.

Pro-Tech 2-inch Sprint Auto with custom inlay.

    Scorpion (not the knife)
