Anyone have one of these? How do you like it? From the videos I have seen, you shoot with a different way of gripping the front of the gun.

Would this attach to a Magpul MOE handguard?

IMO the MOE handguard is too short to utilize the AFG grip. It can be attached but the AFG was really made to be put far out on the gun to drive it to ward the target and manage recoil impulses.

I here I am at the fall shoot with mine and a suppressor:

If I held the gun at the magwell it will jump much more.

I have one on my .22 beltfed, it is to close to the receiver to really get the benefits of a AFG but it is more comfortable for rambo style off the hip shooting (only fun with a true belt fed) than a flat grip or vertical (basically I put it in as an alternative to a vertical not as a true AFG)

I am not sure it would be useful as an AFG without a full length rail.

I have the Magpul grip and rail system on an AR done in 9mm.
No complaints. For the money it works GREAT.

I have had no problems with accuracy or with comfort. But... on my 9mm AR there is almost NO recoil.

Get it... if it doesn't work for you put it in the classifieds.

I have em on both my ar's (.223 & 9mm) i really like em compared to standard handgaurds and i think they look better than the stubby or std grips.

I think they're more comfortable than a vertical grip, personally. On an AR/SBR or similar pistol format the vertical grip may be more comfortable?

They work great with light setups with pressure pads too. You put the pad on the top rail and its easy to deploy.

I tried the AFG for a while in practice and in 3-gun, but found that I am faster and have more control with a custom cut TD stubby being used as a thumb brake.

Im upset they changed the design. The new AFG2 does not feel the same to me. I need to pick up more older ones before they are gone.

Its an old college nickname............from back in the day.

The upper is a Lakeside Machine Razorback, Clandestine has a couple too. Still tweaking it but it is coming together well with quality ammo.

Actually one is on the way. Should be here any day now.

I had the AFG set up on my old one... the 16" barrel... ;)
I took it off, and returned it to OEM before selling it. :D

Mike, Let me know if you want to try it out.
