    His name was John Cassidy. I played hockey with his kids growing up. He was a really good person. It's a shame, the suspect was supposedly looking for money and may have been mentally ill. I'm guessing Mr. Cassidy confronted him in the locker room for doing something shady and an altercation ensued apparently over less than $100. Total waste.

    Today I heard he murderer was spotted near the school and was acting suspicious. Afterwards he found his way in to the Y locker room where he wasn't supposed to be admitted and was confronted by Mr. Cassidy.
    I was lead to believe that Mr. Cassidy then intervened and may have prevented further involvement with other people.
    Godspeed Mr. Cassidy.
