Mini-14 Scope and Mount

Thinking about buying a Mini-14. It's been years since I did much rifle shooting, and most of that has been with iron sights. My eyes aren't what they used to be. What's a good scope/mount set-up for this gun. I'm particularly concerned with good target acquisition.

On the Older versions like Lou45 is currently selling, a B-SQUARE mount.

New versions, get the Ruger rings.

I am using the stock Ruger scope rings on mine, and they seem to be holding fine.

I used ruger rings and a leupold vxii on mine. Held up fine and served its purpose.
