Is it not already a requirement to put guns in a safe after hours? I'm actually surprised if so.

I doubt really know one way or the other. Common sense would say some sort of safe would be required. But then that is way we have laws, in most cases do to lack of common sense.
Would ATF get involved and yank their FFL? The frequency of break ins would raise my eyebrow....
Q
How many times have they been broken in to?
At least 3 times that I remember in the 12 years I've lived here.
There was a young man shot and killed in the local area and the gun used was traced back to the second theft.
So they haven't learned from past mistakes
Easy fodder for the antis, and I can't say I wholeheartedly disagree.
Schelin Guns weeps.

Lived in “The County” for 31+ years and it seemed to happen every 2 to 3 years. IMOP they haven’t learned squat.

Q
Does he still have a store? I bought through his Waldorf store.
Yes, FFLa required to file stolen gun report and needed to balance FFL's acquisition and disposition "blue" books.Would they be required to report the S/Ns to ATF or just local PD? I would think ATF would have a come to Jesus talk after the 2nd break in.
