Like his sister says "... he owned some of the responsibility for his actions, but not all of it. So he was robbin' y'all's store ... oh well! Call the cops."

Looks like they did call the police ...

At least the clerk was legally allowed to have a gun at work. But seriously when will the insanity end. I mean the bad guy had a gun and was pointing it at the clerk and the family is upset their bad guy brother was shot. Swear to God it just keeps getting worse.

You can't fix that kind of thinking. Sterilization is required. This kind of people should be banned from having children. Only intelligent and responsible people should be allowed to carry ovaries.

I dunno. Not too keen on carrying ovaries myself.

I’m guessing this would be a classic example of having CCW insurance?

Looks like the family will sue, probably loose, but the clerk will be out bucks to defend himself.

Maybe a pre-emptive suit against the family, for the mental trauma suffered by the clerk?

I'm not so sure there's a lawsuit coming. I'm assuming that the family doesn't have a pile of cash laying around to hire a lawyer. That means the attorney would have to take the case on contingency and this case doesn't sound like a winner to me.

Legal eagles please weigh in if there's another angle to this.

    It's a shame.

Poor Roosevelt out spreading the good news through his armed robbery ministry and was shot by some sinner thinking his life had value.
