I was going to get one in 45 from stealth arms so I know it will work without issue.

You might want to wait until Black Friday, SA usually has a 25-30% sale that weekend.
Another option would be to get another (GI-spec) frame to match up to your SARCO GI-spec parts kit now (a nice straightforward build), and then get a 38 Super or 9mm setup to complete this frame later?
The frame is actually cheaper than a barrel... and you'd have "justification" for building two

I have this issue, unless you buy stealth arms barrel and all parts, it won't fit entirely properly.
