    The Gilboa M43 was designed by the Israeli forces needing a AR type firearm that could utilize the enemy's ammunition and magazines. Born in a country were your life depends on your rifle and shooting is not a hobby the Gilboa series is ultra reliable .

    McKay Enterprises is the real manufacturer of this rifle, not Silver Shadow. It was also not made for any IDF requirement I'm aware of - Silver Shadow is not an IDF supplier, they're just IDF vets like a huge number of Israeli citizens.

    The complaints about mag compatibility in this review are troubling, though:

    The CMMG Mutant seems like a better bet for the money.
