So I finally used the amazon gift card my gf gave me for Xmas and bought myself a new EDC knife.
The knife I chose is the Cold Steel AK-47 G-10!! My first Cold Steel knife. Why not have the best of both gun & knife worlds in one package
And since I didn't buy one before the ban this is as close as I will get unless I move....
I am very impressed with it so far. It is thinner and lighter than what I was carrying before, so I feel it's a big upgrade. (was carrying a S&W M&P spring assisted)
It really does have the fastest blade deployment I have seen yet, with the feature of the thumb nob snagging intentionally on the pants when pulling it out, opening the blade instantly. No fiddling for a button or knob, it's just open and ready to go.
The only negative I can mention so far is the Tri-Ad Lock button is pretty stiff and takes some elbow grease to get it depressed enough to unlock the blade to close it.
