The numbers were great but groups could have been better. I started with Reloder 16. I got good groups but the numbers were for the most part running around ES 15 and SD 7-11
Nobody was as surprised as I was with the numbers of 4166.
Reloder 26 shot great in my 257ai, getting 3300+ fps with 100 gr Barnes with low pressure (according to Quickload). Will be trying this in the 7mm on the next outting.

Back in the day, I remade a Winchester 94 into a 200 yard target rifle in 30-30AI. It was pretty heavy but boy could it shoot!

A buddy had a Western auto bolt action 30-30 that is one of the most accurate rifles I've seen. Single hole groups. I researched it and it was a Savage model 340 with western auto name on it.

Savage 340's were even more accurate than lever guns as you could use spire point bullets in them.
