    I got one of those bulk boxes and a fair number were like that so a few cents would "add up" vs. be worthwhile enough for a complaint...Thanks for the response

    looks like it was chamered,not firedand manuely removed and hit rear of reciever .it happens.i put it back in mag,cycle bolt and pull trigger.no danger new from box,still ok to shoot.

    I would file a complaint to see if you can get a replacement box or your money back. Are they Remington Golden Bullets?

    Haha Cabelas is issuing a cc refund for the % of rounds affected in the box...here comes like $2!

    That one is borderline to me. A little less dent and I'd shoot it for sure. A little more and no way. I'd probably throw it out unless I had my bolt action Winchester with me.

    I'm a wuss and will prob just chuck it on the ground at the range or put it in the dud box...even though I only shoot 22lr out of my ruger rar (bolt) Haha

    To me, the projectile looks like it's a little crooked or bent coming out of the case, too, so it may not chamber nicely or fly straight. If that was your only round left and there was one last zombie coming, shoot it! Otherwise, you're right, just toss it in the dud bucket.
