Suffice it to say, it was pretty good. Didn't go quite as smoothly as the last one due to the presence of more newbie shooters, but I got what I needed out of it.

You know, one thing I didn't mention is that I had sling issues. The snap shackle on my Magpul MS2 sling released my rifle for no obvious reason. It is admittedly old and well-used, but I suspect that the pull-ring got caught on my gear. It was also really uncomfortable - it's just not wide enough for a rifle that was 10lbs loaded. I spent some quality time tonight finally figuring out the Urban ERT sling I got with an AUG years and years ago, and I think I will be trying that sling system out in the future. I have like a zillion slings, and it's time to pare down the herd...
