You know, one thing I didn't mention is that I had sling issues. The snap shackle on my Magpul MS2 sling released my rifle for no obvious reason. It is admittedly old and well-used, but I suspect that the pull-ring got caught on my gear. It was also really uncomfortable - it's just not wide enough for a rifle that was 10lbs loaded. I spent some quality time tonight finally figuring out the Urban ERT sling I got with an AUG years and years ago, and I think I will be trying that sling system out in the future. I have like a zillion slings, and it's time to pare down the herd...

    Thank you sir.

Another complete, useful AAR. I’d sure try them was I closer.

I applaud your continuing investment in training. The best tool in the world is useless in the hands of someone who knows not how (and when) to employ it.

Training is money. Money means staying alive when the chips are down and your back is against the wall.

    Be well. Stay safe.
