Some of them, but I would like to know if anyone has recently applied and was granted a license and what their situation was and how they articulated their reasoning.
Sadly, there isn't a pat "cookbook" for getting awarded a W&C license. A lot of variables come into play. A good general rule is to document your "Apprehended Danger" as best you can, and keep it simple, specific and to the point. Police reports go a long way toward making your case. Newspaper clippings and the like usually don't. It also helps to get an endorsement letter from your employer.
