    Does anyone know if the following is allowed in Maryland?

    Sterling Mk4 9mm Wise Lite Arms SMG L2A3 Rifle

    Found one on Gun Broker. It is not an SBR (has 16") barrel.

    Is it legal for MD residence to buy/own?

    Banned to my knowledge. The Sterling Mk. VI is banned and this is a copy of it. The Mk IV was the SMG.

    You'd have to fiddle with the stock or barrel, the overall length of the gun in SMG configuration is 27 inches. The other option would be to do it as a semi-auto clone of the L34 suppressed version.
