Good. Hopefully their little cutesy move of saying they are grandfathering existing stocks while making it impossible to meet the grandfathering requirements sinks the whole bill.

And a quick rewording next session and that bill will go through...but meanwhile MSI spends thousands. Stilll tho...good job

The bill only passed because of the grandfathering clause.

During testimony the bills author was asked to explain how grandfathering would work since approval from the atf was impossible. His response was something to the effect of “ if they can’t get permission then they shouldn’t have them”

And that was the end of that

I agree I would rather have MSI focus on shall issue or something much more functional.

    Just my 2 cents....

    Good luck...

In case you missed it MSI was very active in Annapolis this session (again, or still) supporting, lobbying and testifying for the Shall Issue bills and there is a current lawsuit in the works.

What else exactly do you wish they were doing?

It would be best for MSI to fight this one in advance of the next MGA session, because what they're trying with bump stocks will be applied to magazines >10 rounds next session. The objects are different, but the objective is the same, and the same principles of law are involved.

Head 'em off at the pass!

Saw this on Facebook. What a douchbag, I was going to reply to his comment but I have learned arguing with idiots is a lost cause and waste of time

MSI is doing everything it can to defend the 2nd amendment in MD. That includes suing the state to keep unconstitutional laws like this from taking effect. If we let "little" things like this through in favor of only fighting the bigger, harder battles, then we will be far worse off. In a state like Maryland, holding the line is huge.

    Not one more inch.

If this place had a "like" button I'd be over in the corner standing on it. Well said ma'am.
