    Just in case there are others on here that own a SIG SHR-970 rifle, wanted to pass this along. Soon after finding this great rifle, I went looking for additional magazines for it. Found them online at http://www.joespawnshop.net. Today, curious if they are still available, I checked and sure enough both sizes are still listed. Ordered two more. These are SIG manufactured magazines, top quality for a good price, $16.50 each. Wish I had the same luck finding additional barrels for it.

    Didn't know that .308 was offered. Only have seen 30-06 (what I have) and 300WM length actions were offered. I just happened to take a look at the used rifle rack at the Hamburg, Pa Cabela's (when it was the once great Cabela's), and found the rifle there, synthetic stock appearing to never had been fired or even taken out of the new packaging. Sale in progress, 10% of used guns. $400 out the door, and I almost ran out that door.

    You shoulda run out of the place! "Run like ya stole it" is very apt in this case.
