Do we have any Honda techs? I need some things programmed on my 2012 pilot.

I wear my seat belt but I also use this vehicle at work and sometimes wearing a Seatbelt isn't a good idea/convenient.

I know with Ford and Subaru you can do it by turning on the ignition and plugging/unplugging rapidly with in a time period.

Does Honda allow that or is all though the computer?

That wouldn't be a programming on a Honda. It's controlled by the MICU, and that's non-programable.

You'd have to physically wire the switch. If you're mechanically inclined, you can figure it out.

HOWEVER: I don't think you'll find a mechanic or a tech who will do this for you.

Need to have the seat belt warning turned off.
It is nearly impossible to do this, and yes although I am not a honda tech, I am a Honda / Acura fanatic. I assure you that you are better off buckling the buckle and sitting on top. The CF buckles listed will not work, old trick.

Check through your owners manual . I know with Fords there is instructions in there on how to do it . I shut all mine off . had to latch and unlatch the seat belt like 9 times in a certain amount of time and have the ignition switch in a certain position .

Not possible with newer Hondas and Acuras

Back on topic, im not a honda tech, but i do not recommend this. Heard some people unplugging the white connector under the seat and jumping the black and gray wire and it worked, but some of them not so lucky getting an SRS (airbag) light coming on afterwards and causing an expensive repair which could have been avoided. In short, dont do it. :poke:
