Pulling our new total forward to this page:

As of today, Friday, August 24, the total amount donated is $4,117.00

The donation breakdown goes like this:

    Checks/Money Orders $3,085
    Cash donations $640
    Buellsfurn Fundraising $392

Many thanks to Cypherpunk for acting as intermediary and as a second set of eyeballs on this process! I will post the bank deposit slip totals after depositing these Batch 2 donations tomorrow. We will have another update after the weekend on checks that have arrived since early last week.

Thank you all so much for helping me FIGHT THIS BOGUS CHARGE in court! With luck we will have a considerable amount left over for the continuing Legal Defense Fund going forward.

We are not done with this phase of requesting donations to the fund. Below is the donation info if you wish to help build the foundation for the Fund:

Good, because we are talking about the right of 2A demonstrators to be in public and to not have the police "pick sides" as they did on August 4th.

As for the legal process, we won't know about Fairfax County's level of animus toward me until I am called to the defendant's table on August 28th.

Everyone who diverts $$ from a box or two of ammo and mails it to Cypherpunk on my behalf is in this fight with me this coming Tuesday morning. Thank you!

Please mail your Freedom Check, made out to Jeff Hulbert to:

I hope the Fairfax Powers That Be are following along and see the level of support that we are providing to our brother.

    Be afraid. Be very afraid.

As promised, here is the Batch #2 Deposit slip totaling $1510.

This batch of 25 checks includes the unsigned check from Batch #1 that could not be deposited for lack of a signature. A "Lack of Signature Guaranteed" notation on the signature line allowed for it to be deposited, so we are all good.

The Batch #1 deposit (see post 382 for the picture) totaled $1575, so adding Batch #2 deposits gives us a total of $3,085 checks and USPS Money Order deposited so far.

The $640 in cash received was used in the purchase of $1,800 in USPS Money Orders to that was required to accompany a Retainer Agreement with attorney Thomas Plofchan (see following post).

We expect to receive the generous donations from the Buellsfurn Fundraisers soon, and that will come in check form and be deposited as soon as possible.

As noted earlier, I have signed and returned an attorney Retainer Agreement with Thomas Plofchan to represent me this coming Tuesday morning in Fairfax County General District Court. Mr Plofchan requested $1,800 to be returned with the Retainer, with that money put in escrow for my case.

Rather than risk putting images of my personal checks up here on the forum, I have purchased USPS Money Orders so I could post pictures for you of all expenditures as they occur. So far the only actual money "spent" is about $20 to have the Retainer Agreement printed out and sent by Priority Mail to Mr. Plofchan.

Below, you will see three USPS Money Orders totaling $1,800.

I remain very grateful to those who have donated, and for their commitment that we have a fight worth fighting.

I'm so glad you've given me the opportunity to participate in this Jeff even though I wasn't able to be there at the NRA in person. Being able to support the people who were there still makes me feel like I'm part of the fight.

    Thanks for what you do.

And finally, just in time for Christmas (and Chanukah!), you can place orders for the ultimate fun toy for boys and girls: G.I. Jeff!

(Not safe as a doggie chew toy, contains Tannerite for happy, fun explosions!)

"Hulbert lives for confrontation and that's the only thing he lives for. No real home. No real job. Lives on the charity and goodwill of the people he begs money from on MDS. What a hero."
So, dear Viewer.....Homeless? Oh no, I have a primary and a secondary residence.

My primary residence is spending the night on the sidewalk in front of the U.S. Supreme Court when SCOTUS is in session. The side benefit that in the morning I am already first in line for the very few vouchers given out for public seating. If it is a case I'm not interested in, I sell the voucher and have lunch at the Trump Hotel. Nice!

My secondary residence when SCOTUS is not is session is parking my Highway To Hell machine behind the Cracker Barrel on Route 50.

    Smell the freedom!
