    Not that this changes anything, but the Miller decision was decided by SCOTUS with no one opposing the government during arguments. That made it a foregone conclusion which way it would be decided. There was absolutely no one arguing against the government. The NRA wasn't into politics then and apparently no other gun organization was either.
