I had some of the milsurp rifle collection out to inspect, clean and re apply protectants to the bore, metal and wood. I’m still not done. Then I move to pistols.

    So far.

Nice! That's on my list of things to do tonight. I finally painted the section of drywall I had to repair that was next to my safes, so I can move them back in to the room where they belong. That, of course, requires me taking everything out of them to move them. I'll need to run a snake through several bores at the very least.

What do you use for cleaning up your wood?

what do you use on the wood?

Depending on the gun, ballistol, or light amount of tung oil. Mostly Ballistol. I don't really have a good set of notes to tell me what to use on each gun. I use Tung on the Garand, K98K, 1917 I'd welcome input on that. Most all of these all are stored in Gunsocks. I have this in an air conditioned room, In the summer it gets up to 78F and winter down to 60F. I do run a humidifier in the winter.

LOL, I'm not done yet! I never said how many more to go :)
I'm always glad there are people out there with more guns than my wife has shoes.

    Picture ?

So as to not start another thread, I had to empty both of my safes to move them back to their proper positions in the house (had to repair some drywall near them, so they got moved a few months back while I got lazier and lazier about doing the final sanding and painting). Anyway, I had to take everything out to move them. Here's the whole family together in one shot.
