I have a Glock G19 G4 I'd like to have the trigger tuned up and otherwise onced over. I plan on carrying the weapon soon in an official capacity and want to ensure its 100%. Thanks in advance.

    It's a Glock, you're good!

But seriously, read your GO's most departments prohibit modifications.

Buuuuuttt.... If you're still insistent to modify your trigger, there are dozens of YouTube videos on how to do so. That's how I learned.

"official capacity"? I wouldn't tinker with the trigger. Beyond likely policy there is potential liability involved.

Have a gunsmith or properly trained armorer go over the gun and replace the springs as required.

How many rounds have this seen? It likely doesn't need a "tune up".

I'm planning on carrying it off duty, most likely in the colder months so I have some time. My department doesn't have any specific regs limiting my off duty so I'm good there.

Can you be a little more specific about what you mean by "tuned up"..??

If a lighter and smoother trigger pull is what you are after, there are inexpensive upgrade parts that can installed by most anyone with no gunsmithing experience that will accomplish that goal without compromising safety, and has been previously noted there are dozens of Youtube videos that will guide you thru it step by step. For about $50 or so in parts you can get a nice smooth pull of about 4 1/2 Lbs. with most models of Glock.

I would be more than happy to accommodate. I am an experienced LE/Mil Advanced Armorer. Please PM me and we can arrange a service appointment at Heritage Training and Shooting Center in Frederick.

Mail the slide to Glock and they will fill it with new parts and send it back to you.
