Both about 6.6 inches, both about 18 ounces, both use the 51T, on paper they sound the same to me.

Anyone shot both and can tell me what the difference is?

I have shot the 556 SD. It has a really noticeable FRP. The price is definately good on them. I went with a Specwar 556. Because I liked the mount more and not even noticeable FRP.

From what I have read about the M4 2000, it has almost no FRP and quiets the rifle by an extra 2-3db.

    Yup.

First Round Pop - it's caused by the oxygen in the air inside the can being burnt off with that first shot. After that there's less oxygen left in there and it is a bit quieter. Some baffle designs create more or less FRP than others.
