I'm actually shocked that this crap didn't get jammed down our throats, and it leaves me scratching my head trying to figure out why because I don't believe it was our efforts that got them shut down. The reason I think that is because it didn't make one lick of difference in 2013 when they foisted FSA2013 on us. We called, we emailed, we went to the Capitol, we protested, we testified, and it wasn't even close - they rammed that travesty through, and didn't even have the common courtesy to kiss us first.

There's got to be some other dealing going on under the table.

Sometimes the other team trips on the one-yard line. I'm OK with that.

Next time elected officials call for "civilian oversight" of the police, bombard them with how uninformed they were in killing the HPRB!

Jen's birthday was a couple of days ago. Her father, who is a longtime friend from our days in the fire department sent her good wishes on Facebook and stated how proud he was of his daughter. It included photos of her including one from Annapolis. I replied with the Ytube video of her testimony where she sold her parents out and then answered a Delegate who asked if they should have been arrested with a "Yes". I asked "Are you still proud?" He wasn't happy with my inquiry. For some reason, I can no longer access his page.

Nicely done. I looked at her page as well as his, and there doesn't seem to be a hint of "happy birthday" posting ... I'm willing to bet she advised him to purge the postings.

(He was kind enough to identify "Jen Pauliukonis" as his daughter on his About page ... yay social media!)

It wasn't on her site, it was on her father's fb page. I checked this morning using my wife's account and it appears he has deleted that entire post. That would be "Herman Schweers"

Thought you might like Jumping Jen's version of her overwhelming success in this session.

She must draw a salary for her MDPGV lobbying efforts so has to tout their effectiveness. MDPGV probably receives some support from Bloomberg. MDA certainly does. I'm glad her "I would put my dad in jail" bill got no traction.

So, with regard to the second part...

Say some enterprising youth comes into my home on an unannounced visit because I happened to leave the door not locked enough, and encourages me that I'd be a happier, healthier person if he were to hold onto one of my firearms so that he can support his grandma and earn tuition money.

By her logic, once I report my spontaneous largess to the authorities (because 72 hours is 72 hours, after all), and he uses that time to follow the lead of Princess Stephanie for his activities, I can suddenly be in trouble because there was no background check done before I acceded to his heartfelt request.

Does anyone have a way to politely interact with them? I would love hear an official statement as to why HB236 (Repeat Firearms Offender Act) was not one of their "priority bills."

Everytime I think of that bill not sailing right through into law, I am redumbfounded:sad20:. If I was the tattoo type, I would think about getting that number tattooed somewhere to remind me to never let them forget that they (Dems of any flavor) chose to put violent repeat offenders on the street.

    Behind enemy lines...
So help me out here. Years ago, a neighbors husband passed away. She wanted to defend her home and herself. I helped her select and ultimately purchase a S&W 686.

Question. If she gives me HER 686 to take back to my house and clean.....will this now be illegal???? And who will know? Two consenting adults.
