    I thought so too but looking through images in google, these 2 areas are different from all the other photos. I didn't search the ENTIRE internet!

    There are a lot of clever and functional things out there to prop a gun up with through the trigger guard...but a file?!?:rolleyes:

    Looks like one of those add on compensators. Funny story..Buddy of mine had this same setup and took it down to MSA Range to try it out. Well the comp flew off the barrel, down range. He asked the attendant to retrieve it, and he did. After close inspection the attendant picked up a "similar" device, but not his. Guess these "add-ons" don't always work as designed.
