It's a copy cat (you can't do it) if it has:
TWO or more of the following
features:
• Folding Stock
• Grenade or Flare Launcher
• Flash Suppressor
OR ANY of these features:
• Fixed magazine >10 rounds
• Overall Length <29 inches
If we are going to argue about whether the MSP could call a muzzle brake or a suppressor a "flash hider" then standby for another 100 opinions.

If it has a brake (not break) as opposed to a flash holder, then you are good to go with a folder, assuming you don't somehow have a grenade launcher on there.

Flash hider, muzzle brake, sound suppressor...all the same thing to the Feds but not sure what the state's terminology is on that. If it's ''muzzle devices'' than that would be all-encompassing.
The statute defines flash hider as "any device that is designed as or functions as a flash hider"
