I didn't use an FFL in Wicomico County but have used several in Talbot County (Easton). They all followed a similar pattern:

    1. Contacted Seller & tentatively made purchase via Credit Card. I also got Seller's fax number.

    2. Went to Receiving FFL and discussed the transaction. I found out his fee for the deal ( it varies by receiving FFL from - $35 to $85 ). I also made sure that the item I was purchasing was legal in Maryland (many items are not).

    3. Finalized the deal with Seller.

    4. Let Receiving FFL have Seller's fax number.

    5. Receiving FFL and Selling FFL sent each other the necessary paperwork, properly signed.

    6. Seller sent item to Receiving FFL

    7. When it arrived, I was contacted by the Receiving FFL, went to see him, signed necessary paperwork, waited the mandatory time.

    8. Paid the Receiving FFL and took possession of the item.

I hope that this helps you.
