Does it have to be Form'd as an AOW on its own, or does having a MG inside it negate all that?

I am 99.9% sure that is an AOW. I remember back in the 90's, a few folks were making them and had to register them as an AOW. Remember, it's still $200 for a form 1 regardless of a SBR or AOW.

Nope, the gun that goes inside it is an AOW, IF it is a semi auto. The case itself is nothing. If it is an MG, then the case is also nothing, and the gun is already covered as an MG.
