oh absolutely, except for occasional circumstances, overall old guns always only go up in value or at the very least retain their value, and guns are more stable to inflation than most savings and such ill bet.

ammo can fluctuate a little more, but overall its the same too.

right now though ammo is kind of elevated in price, just 5 years ago it was a fraction of the current price.

i would wager my ammo has gone up in value a lot more than most of my guns have, i could probably sell my turk 8mm for example at 5 times the price per round that i paid for it and it would sell pretty fast too. makes me wish i had really stacked it deep back then.

i personally think its no coincidence that the price increases came about the same time the democrats took over congress.
