    I agree with Qbeam. The mags will still lock up and release even though the bottom metal is sitting too low. Insert a mag and see how far away it sits from the bottom of the receiver. If rd more than an 1/8” away from the receiver, you are probably too low.

    I have had AI mags not work for me . I retuned them and got MDT mags and problem solved. Sometimes the lips on the mags need to be twiked.

    yoshi, I have both AI and Accurate Mags if you want to try feeding from them. There may also be a MagPul plastic one laying around somewhere from some testing I did with short body improved wildcats.

    normally feeding issues are due to, as others have said, presentation height. If your height is very close, a slight adjustment to the magazine lips can usually solve the problem.
