So the House is not receding, they want the Senate to do so? I guess that means Dumais’s ego is unyielding and she wants her bill.

    Am I reading that right?

Maybe she's throwing her weight behind the bill.

The Senate just adjourned until 8pm as well.

Lots of legislative days left and a lot of damage the legislature can do. I've been updating the MSI legislation tracker, but I'm not quite as fast as the pros in Annapolis.

House is receding we are hearing. Vote at 8pm session. That online stuff may be lagging behind.

    Motion To Recede
A motion to recede means that an amendment adopted by the opposite chamber is reconsidered and withdrawn
    by that chamber.

So, now what happens? Is the amendment by the Senate withdrawn and the House bill gets voted on?

    No the other way around

The house bill as amended by the Senate will get voted on by the house at the 8pm session. If that passes it goes to Hogan.

The inside word relayed through Speaker Busch’s Chief Aide is that the RED FLAG bill will be voted on, just up or down, no amendments, in the 8pm session of the House.

The two gun control mommas Jen Paulyshore and Frizzy Alice the lobbyist-writer of the bill, have been back and forth in an agitated way so we knew something was up.

We suspect Gun Grabber Queen Dumais was furious at having her Commie RED FLAG Manifesto blown out and had to be placated in some way to let it go forward. We have been hoping her hysteria would jam up the works but someone read the Riot Act to her.
