I've noticed in the past week or two, that we have some new users who start an outlandish thread. Then they defend themselves with a post for every critique. This allows them to get the 50 posts in no time.

Do you think this should be allowed? Now I'm not talking about the new user who is participating in many threads to get their 50 posts. But there are some who will beat a subject into the ground at what appears to be an attempt of getting their 50 posts.

Talk about compromising our 2A rights and they're guaranteed to have their 50 posts in a matter of days to just hours.

    What say you?

Not sure what would work other then what is being done now. In a public open forum everyone would have to understand everyone can't be a DaveP.

50 posts? Who needs 50 posts? Certainly not me... :innocent0

But we know you know that any attempt to pad your post count will have a swarm of mods just eager to delete your post count back down to zero just to make you start again, they even take a few from Mr Rab just for grins.:D

I use it when I see illegal acts mentioned. Albeit only every few months, but mods can't be everywhere.

How many times has Norton dropped in to threads where there's an extended pissing match going on and chided the readers for not clicking report sooner?

I love it when a noob that's just here to quickly sell something tries to get their 50 in intro threads. Next best is when Norton keeps dialing back a post count without giving them a heads up, lol.

Lol, I need to pay closer attention - although even without knowing how, I'm still entertained that there's a more subtle/devious way that you all toy with scammers trying to crash into the classifieds or WC.
