I am looking for concealable paddle holsters for a J-frame 642 and another for my sig p365xl/p365 (have both). I am hoping to find something that works with my scrubs and also with regular dress pants.

Hard part is I am a south paw. Galco doesn’t really support left handed shooters so they are out (just got off of the phone with their CS looking).

There are a few other brands (Alien Gear sucks and is too bulky, I have tried and returned a bunch of them), but I don’t want to buy and return other brands until I am happy. Don’t think it is fair to the maker to do that. So was wondering what paddle holsters you guys have tried and liked.

    I am 6’1” and 245 pounds.

    Thanks

How do you wear an OWB paddle holster with scrubs? You just pull the scrubs over?

    Check out www.crossbreedholsters.com
I’ve got two IWB’s and they are very nice and well made

I’ve also been looking at www.vedderholsters.com based on Blaster’s recommendations. I may try them out next time.

Have you checked out a belly band? One of my crossbreeds is a belly band. I like it better when I’m going to be sitting down for a long time or driving.

Have you looked at pocket holsters? As a fellow southpaw, I feel your pain. I'll look through some of my old storage boxes and see if I have any holsters from when I was stationed in Texas. I carried a J frame revolver down there and had a few different holsters.

I've got one of these for a Glock, and like it.

It looks like they have them for the P365

Model 7378 7TS™ ALS® Concealment Paddle and Belt Loop Combo Holster
    MODEL: 7378 SKU: 1316837 PART: 7378-365-412

Not sure about the J frame, though, as I don't know what specific model you have, and their holster finder tool is rather cumbersome to browse a bunch of models from a phone.

If you use Safariland's "holster finder" link, though, it should tell you if they have one:

I have been using the Vedder Light tuk for years based on an old recommendation from Blaster. Love then when I am carrying IWB or AIWB. Also use the Crossbread Bellyband, but the constant pressure over hours bothers me. So, I wanted a holster I can do OWB both with a belt and when I am in scrubs.

Have a couple of pocket holsters. They don’t do much for me. Have one for the 642 custom made by Dera.
