That's just the start of it. You'll need a high pressure pump at the least and ideally a 4500psi carbon fiber tank.

I know, I know. I own several PCP rifles and pistols. I have a pump and an air tank gauges etc.etc. I have lately been looking into a new compressor that is pretty quiet and runs around $900. We'll see.

Additionally, it won't be 3000 PSI trying to get out. The PCP is metered air and, in some rifles, they are baffled and very quiet. I don't know if the air bow has baffles but I think it gets like eight shots to a fill.

I too am an avid airgun shooter (pcp mostly). The Airbow isn't regulated and is filled to 3000psi in order to be on the start of the bell curve. So whatever pressure is present in the charge tube during the shot cycle is exactly what's trying to escape through the valve, transfer port and lastly barrel. The valve shuts when the projectil is roughly 3/4 of the way out/down the barrel on an efficient PCP and at that point the pressure drops off in the barrel behind the projectile so whatever pressure is present behind the projectile when it leaves the barrel is what produces a muzzle report on any air rifle shooting subsonic. That's why a properly tuned rifle is usually quieter.

Lastly on the compressor I'd definitely go with the new F10 shoebox IF you're okay with the time required to fill the tank. I'd also recommend the new Altros compressor/booster pump if you have a good 2 stage high CFM air compressor. I went with the Shoebox and a good booster pump since most of my rifles required 4500psi fills.

I think my wife wants one:lol2:

Buy the hand pump. Sure it takes a while for the first fill, after that -refilling a bearable. As long as, you do not de-gas the gun.

Once you shoot it, the speed of the arrows/bolts are really impressive, not to mention the accuracy.

Yeah, I bought one. Make sure you got a really good backstop, otherwise you will be buying extra arrows ;)
