I have a box of new 12 ga. Brass shells made by Giulio Fiocchi Lecco in Italy. They need the #57 primer which is about .025 smaller than the current 209. Would it be possible to open the primer pocket to fit the 209. Don't want to ruin the brass it not feasible. Any suggestions?

    How many is 'a box'???????

I THINK that I have a partial sleeve of Remington #57 primers, in a drawer, in my reloading room.

I'll look this evening. (I have to stop by the hospital and see my Mom, then take my youngest daughter home.)

Again.... I THINK I have some.

IF I do.....you can have 'em. No need to botch up perfectly good shells.
