Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might find a old style Remington 700 rear sight leaf and elevator like the one pictured below. The same sight should be on old remington slug barrels.
I am trying to do a super low budget HD shotgun build and I got a old smooth bore rusty slug barrel real cheap (Thanks to The Gun Shop
) which I have cleaned up quite a bit but it is lacking the rear sight. Looking online I found that the rear sight base on the barrel is the same as what an old 700 used. If someone could point me in the direction of where I might be able to cheaply acquire a rear sight it would be awesome. If not, I plan to fab one up myself.
