a fullsize single stack Glock 45? I'm talking a G17 length frame, 4.5" bbl, single stack mag with a normal basepad (my fingers wrapped around those extended mag pads just feels weird), and a mag cap of 8 or so. Slimmer than a 21, longer grip than the 36, would fit in 17-size holsters.

Totally realize the single stack 36 is not a sales barnburner, but I believe a single stack 45, almost dimensionally identical to a 17 would be the bomb. Hell, I'd buy the first two.

Maybe I'm just weird. What do ya think?

not much of a market for that with the 21SF.

unless they reprofiled the slide to be slimmer there would be no point.

if glock did a .45 with a slimmer slide like the 1911 but with glock action we might have somethin

Well, that's what I was thinking. The 1911 is a popular carry gun, even the full size models. Having a slim full size Glock with the same capacity as a 1911but much lighter would be sweet.

Are the grip frames on the 21sf that slim? Seems that the frame of the 21sf is still quite a bit wider than the slide. The 36 grip frame is much slimmer than other Glocks. Or at least it feels that way to me.

OP, I used to wonder about the same thing, until I saw the Glock 21SF. 21SF is the place to be, IMO.

I'd buy a full size single stack 9mm that's very thin. Not too interested in .45 at the moment.
