Never been to a gun show, and don’t really have the spare change to buy anything. But is it worth it fir me to check it out for the experience?

This used to be a very good show, prior to all the online purchasing. More recently it was like most shows in the area, worth it if you want to window shop, or have an idea want you want to purchase. Not that many or great deals.

New promoter this time, so will find out as we go. All in all if you got the time and not driving to far ( less than 30 minutes) I think it's worth a shot.

The show this weekend has almost filled the entire building with vendors, so hopefully there will be a good turnout. Remember there hasn't been a show at the Howard County Fairgrounds since 2018.

This might be a dumb question. But is there ammo sold at gun shows?

Yes. But pricing can be all over. If you go, shop around before you buy.

Remember you need and AQL, HQL and an prostate exam from Teratos before you buy. I heard he will warm his hands first if he likes you.

    Where they send me.
Good show for me! Brian at SCSG cut me a great deal on something I had been eyeing and I found a nice old LNIB Bushnell Centurion pistol scope (w/magnifier).

There is a 10/22 there with the Tac Sol shrouded barrel (for your can), SIG red dot on it, in a Hogue overmolded stock for $525. That is a deal in my mind. The barrel alone is around $300.

Building almost full, yes, some non-gun stuff but good to see it back!

I just returned from the show. It was good to see Jeff manning the MSI table. Jeff looks good but still needs those prayers.

The show was no where near the shows of old and many guns were priced like they were made of gold. Way too many knives and other things like some plastic stuff for arthritis or some such nonsense. I went to hold a Sig MPX K or Copperhead and no one had any. :sad20:

So there is some criminal prices on guns here. Did find some solid deals on barrels and ammo though.

I’m interested in hearing what stuck out in your mind.

I stopped going because of this. There are 3 Vendors (all IPs here) that does great with pricing but damn some of the prices in the past have been horrendous. I once saw a $600 Sub2K

At today's gun show I picked up this 7-inch metal plaque as a piece of memorabilia about the old USSR.

The legend translates to "Volley of Aurora", a Russian cruiser whose crew mutinied in October 1917. A burst of cannon fire from this ship, while in the harbor of St. Petersburg in October 1917, signaled the start of the assault on the Czar's Winter Palace that ignited the Russian Revolution in 1917.

You just never know what you'll find.

Note: cross posted in "Nazi stuff at gun shows".
